July 2010- Candidates of Congressional District 8
May Meeting: Members and Guest Speaker Terri Seefeldt, insurance broker, who spoke of the consequences of Government’s intrusion into the private industry of health care. Also, she compared statistics of the socialized health care programs of Canada, Great Britain and Germany to that of the United States.
June Meeting: Members (over fifty members) and our Guest Speaker Captain Michael Waldrop who reported about the true situation in Afghanistan that the Media does not cover. Returning from an eighteen months tour in Afghanistan, he gave an informative and emotional power point presentation of the challenges our soldiers face.
