In January, President Rebecca Mellen theme theme for the years is “Educate, Motivate and Activate”. Our goal is to Re-elect President Donald J. Trump and win back Orange County. We started off the year by inviting Kirk Troen, candidate for U.S. Congessional District 10 and Dayna Gaut, candidate for School Board. Our speaker for January was Troy Schmidt. His topic was “Holding the Line”, America’s Fight for Religious Freedom. Our Caring for American project is to donate food to the Edgewood’s Children Ranch.
February 2020 we had a fantastic speaker, Trevor Loundon as he talked about his book “The Enemies Within”. At the meeting, President Rebecca Mellen introduced us to Charlotte White, the FFRW District Representative. Several WORWF members join OCREC member to meet candidates. The meeting was hosted by JuDian Guimbellot, OCREC District 1 Chair. We heard from the following Candidates: Dayna Gaut, Prince Brown, Franco, Bruno Portigliatti, Josh Adams. After the meeting WORWF members donated Dictionaries to several of the Edgewood’s Children.
March 2020 our speaker Major Ralph Groves, retired U.S. and Army and U.S. Dept. of Defense of 2016, discussed rights under the 2nd amendment. We heard from the School Board Prince Brown and Dayna Gaut. We were introduced to Vennia Franciois, candidate for U.S. Congressional Districtt 10. Kirk Troen resigned to the Congessional District 10 due to health. We heard from Ari Leskowitz from the Republican Jewish Coalition. WORWF attend a March Campaign Sidekick Training. March 6 we held a meeting at JuDian Guimbellot’s home to train how to use CampaignSideKick for making phone calls and walking. Adianis Morales RPOF Field Directory set up our usage and password. April, May, June meetings were cancelled due to COVID-19. In July 2020 we had a smaller meeting to meet the 50% capacity requirement at events.
